POLYNOMIALS
1) How does what you learned connect to the real world?
In this unit, I’ve learned in math class was about polynomials . Polynomials is an expression which contain variables and coefficients that involves only the operations of addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication and positive integers exponent. This connect to the real world because in real world there is a path that a moving objects follows through space as a function of time and this called a trajectory. Trajectory and polynomials are connected because when you model a phenomenon with a polynomial, when the phenomenon happens, we use factoring. Start of by using the input as the time and output as the height. then the positive time for which the polynomial evaluates to zero is precisely the time when the object hits the ground.
2) How did you develop or grow as a student through this unit?
I develop as a student through this unit because in math class we learned about polynomials and I have been working hard on my name as a polynomials poster. being an effective student must be responsible and try their best effort on each piece of work. I think that I have develop as a student when I’m working on my poster about my name as polynomials because I have put my effort creating it and I was being responsible about make sure I have all the details and enough information for my poster.
3) As you look at the work you have completed throughout this unit, what are you strengths?
As I look at my work I’ve done, I think that my strengths on my work are that I have express my creatively. I also include all of the stuff that needed to be part of the poster. In my poster there are your name, your polynomial that matches your name, describe and label everything , about your graph, the degree and number of terms in your polynomial, the shape of your graph, the x-intercepts, the y-intercept. My poster was simple and easy to understand as it’s not overload by words and pictures.
4) As you look at the work you have completed throughout this unit, what do you think you could improve?
As I look at the work I have completed through this unit about polynomials poster, I think that I could improve my work on my poster by adding more details and name my polynomial. I could improve my weakness by adding more details to my work next time.
