A) Is everything we are determined by our genes?

No, genes do not determined all of our identities. Accordingly, the name, religious, personal thoughts sexual orientation and destiny. Genes may predispose to your certain behavior, but genes  don’t determine your personality. Personality and sexual orientals your own  personal creation, it does not inherit genes from your parents. Genes carry information including physical trait and genetics trait. Anyway, if genes do determined everything of your identities, consequently the offspring would have the similar thoughts. Eventually, genes can’t be change, for an example, offspring can’t change their appearance, except if they had experience plastic surgery.

B) How do babies get their traits? (dominant, recessive, genotype, phenotype, meiosis, etc)

Babies inherit traits from their parents. Inherited traits include physical trait(appearance),personality and blood type genetics trait. Physical trait including hair color, eye color, facial features, and height. Most of the time, babies get their dominant trait, they are more likely to be shown than recessive trait. Babies do have genotype, that collects DNA information of the babies’ characteristics trait. The phenotype is shown in babies, they get their phenotype by their parents. First of all, before babies get their traits, they need to pass the Meiosis process to create cells requires with DNA, perform the traits to the babies.

2) How is what we learned connected to the real world.

I learned about Mendel and Meiosis, this lesson connected to the real world because every organism uses the process, Meiosis to create an offspring. As well as  Mendel's experiment,  his experiment just create an theory about that only DOMINANT TRAITS are usually shown more likely than RECESSIVE TRAITS. This theory happened in  the 1900s. Basically, everything that’s science connect to the real world as the real world is in the property of science. Cell cycle is science.

3) Upload your Meiosis Claymation movies

4) For your movie, was it difficult, interesting, challenging, learned a lot, shows progress  (choose one) and explain why.

The movie I created with Jenny and Siam was about the process of Meiosis. To be honest, the creation of the Meiosis movie was interesting.  Accordingly, this was my first time experiencing the program called “Imovie”. I considered that this was easy for my first go on Imovie. The claymation movie was interesting as there are clearly shown images with explanation.
