IT Reflection: Quarter 3

Units: Language Arts Posters for School, Berkeley Times Spread and Promotional Posters for Events

Answer Essential Questions: How does the audience and client you are working for effect your design?

First of all, the audience and clients i’m working with which are Spencer, Siam, Daniel, and Joey.Technically, they affect my design as they can give me difference opinion and point of view of the design. However, my goal is to present to the audience and appreciate them, this way truly assist when they give me their own perspective to adjust and improve my design to higher level and more appealing. It’s mandatory to remember in your mind that you are designing for public and audience so you must be sure that everyone can accept your design. Even Though, it is true that every person’s mind is difference in the way of thinking, there might be people who disagree with your design and some are really admire your piece of work. Anyway, the point of designing is to the best for the regarding audiences and clients. Furthermore, having an audience target can keep designer’s head up as they design. Because the more you expected an target audience, the more you will earn your design target of how the design will suit the type of the audience. The audience and client give the designer’s improvement to the work. Considering designs are public, it’s not meant to be a personal work. So this must not be your personal style, mixing styles for the higher opportunity for the achievement of good comments from the audience and clients. It’s hard when designing for audience because you don’t really know the audience’s style and this effect the designer’s design. In my opinion, I think that designer should get experience and do a research of an success designer then collect their information to see what an sucess design looks like.

As you look at the work you have completed for a client or specific audience, what do you think you could improve on (what was challenging or difficult for you)?Throughout this design, I’ve difficulties finding cool fonts that are free, most of the fascinating fonts design are not free. But anyway, I still find some suitable fonts from the internet.

When creating a designing for a client/or with an audience in mind what are your strengths (what parts do you find easy)

My task for this project was to find font designs that will go best with the design, I've collect many fonts and then I asked my clients which one go best. Consequently, the final font was chosen, and we added to the design. In my mind, my strength is finding creative or uncommon use fonts that can bring out the design to an professional look. Importantly, the fonts must be readable and suits with the design. Technically, fonts can come in different design that can be catchy. This can make the final work bemore more appealing.
