What did you acieve this unit?
Throughout semester 1, I learned about the culture of a Spanish speaking country such as Spain, Mexico, and Argentina. Other than that, I achieve on knowing the definition of Spanish words from each topic(Food, Clothes, Body,etc.). We have learned about numbers from 1-20 and all the colors. However, in Spanish nouns and articles are used as in masculine(el) for male and feminine(la) for female. Un, uno, una? Un is for masculine, words that isn’t end with a, una is feminine, which mean the word is end with a, uno means number one. I also learned new stuff in Spanish class such as phrases and subject pronouns. Subject pronouns are yo(I), nosotros(we), usted/tu(you(formal/you(informal), ustedes(you all), el/ella(he/she) and ellos(they). Adjectives in Spanish are use after the word you’re describing. Ser is used for describing a condition, while ser is used to describe a essential quality.
Why is it important to learn new languages?
It is important to learn new languages because it will benefits for individual’s life. The reason is because you’ll have learn more about culture. It will be easier for travelers to communicate. The second reason is people will see you as a talented person. Other than that, learning new languages can improve your confidence skills and it will improve your career as you can communicate across the world. In the future, you can have more chances getting a jobs. Last thing, it is fun to learn new languages.
